Our Awesome Spring Break Adventure Part 2
This will be a 3 part blog series on our what I call "Our Awesome Spring Break Adventure." This was one for the books for us. Over 9 days we went to Disney World, Daytona Beach, and a short cruise on Carnival out of Port Canaveral. It was non-stop action packed and we needed a break to recover. This blog post will focus on the Daytona Beach portion of the vacation.
Here are the top 5 reasons Daytona Beach is an amazing destination for a family vacation:
- Endless Beach Fun 🏖️
Miles of sandy shores invite days filled with sandcastles, surfing, swimming and soaking up the sun. The iconic Daytona Beach is perfect for a family beach day. Collect seashells, fly kites, toss a frisbee, and cool off in the refreshing Atlantic waves.
- Thrills at Daytona Lagoon 🎢
For a day of excitement, head to Daytona Lagoon water park and entertainment center. Zip down water slides, race go-karts, play mini golf and laser tag, and enjoy the arcade. With so much to do, the kids will never be bored!
- Discover Marine Life 🐠
Spark curiosity at the Marine Science Center. Get hands-on with stingrays in the touch pool, see rehabilitating sea turtles, and explore fascinating marine life exhibits. The kids will love learning about the incredible creatures that inhabit the ocean.
- Climb Ponce Inlet Lighthouse 🚨
Challenge the family to a climb up Florida's tallest lighthouse. The stunning views from the top of Ponce Inlet Lighthouse are worth the 203 steps! After, check out the on-site museum to learn about the lighthouse's history.
- Make Lasting Memories 👨👩👦
What brings a family closer than new adventures and experiences? Daytona Beach is the ultimate backdrop for creating treasured memories. Enjoy quality time, strengthen your bond and make this a vacation the whole family will remember forever.
Pack your sunscreen, gather the crew, and embark on an unforgettable family getaway in Daytona Beach! ☀️
We stayed at the Max Beach Resort. I can't say enough great things about this place. If you are going to Daytona Beach this has to be on your list of potential places to stay.
